Cosy Cafe
We began our Cosy Café in January 2023, as a warm-space café in Bellie Church Hall every Monday morning from 10 am – 12 noon. Offering a warm welcome to all, those who come along can enjoy a cuppa and a cake whilst chatting with friends, visitors or members of our dedicated and hard working team. Most weeks the café is buzzing with folks from our local community, the outlying villages and the church family. Also, the local walking group join us every week when they return from their walk.
After the morning Cosy Café closes, the Schools Cosy Café opens for the school lunch hour from 1-2 pm. It is open to all in S1-S6 from Milne’s High School to come along and enjoy FREE hot chocolate and toast with toppings every Monday lunchtime. This has proved very popular with an average attendance of between 60-90 teenagers many of them regulars who we have now got to know and have connected with. Our aim with this ministry is to encourage youngsters to be comfortable to come into a church setting and to enjoy having people around who they can talk to if they wish. The hour passes extremely quickly because it can be very busy.
